Bright Pack is the concept of Maja Bang Jakobsen, Benjamin Gamillscheg and Hans Christian Schubell from Denmark. They were selected as one of the five finalists, but also won the “Customer Cup”, an online voting competition where SCA Packaging customers voted for their favourite concept.

BrightPack has chosen the clam shell blister pack as reference. This inconvenient, old school packaging does not spread the eco-friendly message. It’s not even easy to get the bulb out. A top notch, high tech energy saving light bulb should be wrapped in an equally eco-hip and easy to use package.

With “BrighPack” there is no more hurting yourself with a dull knife in the dark, since it only takes one simple move to open the BrightPack by hand. The Packaging can easily be closed again, so you can test the bulb before purchasing it – or return it to the store in an intact packaging if it doesn’t fit. All the pearls of wisdom are printed onto the paper strip. You can hang on to them for as long as desired.

Throw BrightPack in a pot, add water, and watch as nature creeps into your home. Flip BrightPack anyway you like. It still stacks, stands or hangs.

Green all the way… inside and outside!

Benefits

  1. BrightPack has been considered all the way from cradle to grave. The paperboard strip both protects- and displays the lamp.
  2. The BrightPack is shaped to hang, stand and lie – tight – during transportation and storage. It’s a pleasure to open/close the package compared to the blister package, and since all info is printed on the strip, you can keep it for as long as needed.
  3. And then what? Instead of throwing it to waste, you can plant the strip and it will transform into wild flowers. It keeps on giving, and you can reminisce about the 2000 hours of moments spent in the glowing light of the energy saving lamp.
