CREATOR OF THIS PROJECT
Finalist 2nd edition Design Challenge.
Estelle Rigoudy from France was the only finalist that didn’t team up with other designers and entered the competition by herself. She came up with a second life for the Glenfiddich packaging.
The current packaging of Glenfiddich is attractive to see and gives the right glimpse of what can be found inside. But once opened or consumed, the packaging deserves no purposes anymore. With this adapted design of the original packaging, Estelle came up with a second use of the packaging.
The inside of the packaging can now be used to play cardboard games or provide additional information about the whisky brand while enjoying a glass.
Benefits
- The life extension of the packaging.
- A second life of a packaging, in linked to the product’s nature.
- This second life could be encouraged to buy the product one times in more and develop loyalty of the consumer.
- The fact that there are three different packages makes it a collection item. e. Also applicable to other markets.

Finalists have now completed their workshops and are fine-tuning their designs for the final
